This Privacy Policy explains how PactPilot ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use our website, workspace, mobile apps, bots, Chrome Extension, and related services (the "Service").
PactPilot is an AI client-communication copilot for freelancers. You may submit client messages, screenshots, selected text, contract documents, uploaded files, and project context so the Service can analyze client intent, identify business risk, and draft replies.

- Improve reliability, safety, quality, and user experience.
- Send product notifications you enable, such as alerts that an AI reply or contract review is ready.
- Respond to support requests.
- Detect abuse, prevent fraud, secure the Service, and enforce our Terms.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. AI Processing
03PactPilot uses AI infrastructure and model providers to generate analysis and draft replies. When you submit messages, selected text, screenshots, contract text, uploaded files, or project context, that content may be processed by our systems or third-party AI providers to provide the Service.
You should not upload content that you are not authorized to share, or content that contains unnecessary sensitive personal information.
PactPilot may process user content to provide the Service, maintain safety, debug issues, and improve product quality. If we use aggregated or de-identified information for product improvement, we take steps designed to prevent it from identifying you.
PactPilot does not automatically send messages to your clients. Drafts are shown to you for review, editing, copying, and sending.
4. Chrome Extension Privacy Boundary
04When you use the Chrome Extension, PactPilot is designed to analyze content you explicitly submit, such as selected text, pasted messages, uploaded files, screenshots, or supported page content you choose to send for analysis.
The Chrome Extension should not upload your full page DOM, cookies, browsing history, tab list, or unrelated page content. It should not automatically read a full page in the background for PactPilot analysis.

06We do not sell personal information.
We do not use user content for third-party advertising.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information unless you choose to include it in messages, screenshots, documents, contracts, project context, or support communications that you submit to the Service.

07We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, operate product features, manage subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Service.
You may request deletion of certain personal information by contacting us at [email protected]. Some information may be retained where required by law, for security, for payment records, or for legitimate business purposes.
8. Security
08We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
